Nod to Artwork in Academic Department Newsletter
My emerging art practice got a nod in the department newsletter for the Philosophy, Cosmology, Consciousness program at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
If you have been searching for a way to engage with depth and breadth the context behind the unique challenge and opportunity of the moment in history we are undergoing as a planet--I would recommend learning more about Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness in San Francisco, USA.
The program is led by legendary professors Richard Tarnas (cultural history), Robert McDermott (religious studies), Brian Swimme (cosmology), Sean Kelly (philosophy), Elizabeth Allison (ecology). Including adjunct professors like Stanislav Grof (psychology), Joanna Macy (ecology) and Christopher Bache (religious studies). For your journey into this crucible you will find highly motivated, committed, and intelligent peers and alumni who are in their various ways working to craft important aspects of the future civilization we would like to see while honoring the legacy of the past (philosophers, psychologists, artists, film makers, entrepreneurs, etc).
Here is a description from the PCC website:
